Estimated project costs is $1,282,460.00 inclusive of contingency allowance. Background Information: The City of Miami (City) advertised the Coconut Grove Waterfront Masterplan (Regatta Park) Project, B-30182B ((the "Project") by way of ITB-14-027, which included work scope to reconfigure and enhance two (2) surface parking lots located at the Project site. The bid responses received by the City reflected higher construction costs than was expected and so the City elected to proceed with the Project with the intent of phasing the projects to allow for the surface parking lots to be improved once additional project funds became available. The City realized value - engineering cost savings and was able to fund the construction costs to complete one (1) surface parking lot. The MPA has now authorized a grant to fund the cost of construction to improve the second surface parking lot. With the MPA's fund contribution, this Project (Phase 2) is fully funded.
