HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 15-01370 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED AUGUST 25, 2015, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID 503340 FROM GLOBAL TRADING, INC., THE SOLE RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, FOR THE PROVISION OF UNIFORMS CITYWIDE, FOR VARIOUS USER DEPARTMENTS, FOR AN INITIAL CONTRACT PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS WITH AN OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR PERIODS, ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS OF THE END USER DEPARTMENTS, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGET APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED; AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL SUPPLIERS TO THE CONTRACT AS DEEMED IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY. WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") has a need for the procurement of uniforms Citywide; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The bid received August 25, 2015, pursuant to Invitation for Bid 503340 from Global Trading, Inc., the sole responsive and responsible bidder, for the provision of uniforms Citywide, for various user departments, for an initial contract period of three (3) years with an option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, is accepted, allocating funds from the various sources of funds of the end user departments, subject to the availability of funds and budget approval at the time of need, and authorizing additional suppliers to the contract as deemed in the best interest of the City. Section 3.
