United Teachers of Dade, August 2015 (Seasonal)
Had conversations with teachers in publics schools are joining UTD. The goal was to increase
membership for the organization.
Campus Organizer, July 2014, NextGen Climate, Miami, FL (Seasonal)
Performed college and university campus organizing duties during the Florida Governor's
electoral season. Organized students to volunteer in phone banking young voters in order to
have an active voice in climate change. Collect signatures from Climate Action voters on
campus and at events.
Accomplishments:
Received accolades from the field director for overachieving in phone banking.

Organized Healthcare workers at the University of Miami Hospital and others facilities with the
goal building power around workers issues such as fair wages and benefits. Goal achieved by
turning workers out for public actions, moving petitions, developing leaders, recruiting
membership, phone banking, leafleting, moving public officials to get involved, and hosting
chapter meetings.
Accomplishments:
Assisted in earning a fair contract with guaranteed raises and benefits.
Assisted in organizing 200 hospital workers for an hour meeting.
