Hannon City Clerk FROM: Diame Director Department of Real Estate and Asset Management DATE: September 14, 2015 SUBJECT: Conveyance of City -owned Property to FDOT SW 1st street Bridge Replacement Project REFERENCES: 10 Day Notice ENCLOSURES: Quit Claim Deed Enclosed you will find an ad for notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Commission on October 22, 2015, for the purpose declaring surplus and authorizing the City Manager to execute a Quit Claim Deed, conveying to the State of Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT"), at no cost, four (4) parcels, identified as Folio number(s) 01-0201-010-1120, 01-0201-010-1160, 01-0113-080-3130, and 01-0113-090-1141 for transportation purposes in connection with the Southwest 1st Street Bridge replacement project (State Road 968). Please place the ad in accordance with public hearing requirements of the City Commission. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. AB:HM CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on October 22, 2015, at 9:00 AM at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of granting the following: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION DECLARING SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED CONVEYING TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ("FDOT"), AT NO COST, FOUR (4) PARCELS, IDENTIFIED AS FOLIO NUMBER(S) 01-0201-010-1120, 01-0201-010-1160, 01- 0113-080-3130, AND 01-0113-090-1141 TO BE USED FOR TRANSPORTATION PURPOSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE SW 1ST STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT (STATE ROAD 968); FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS THAT MAY BE NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE SUCH CONVEYANCE, WHICH TERMS MAY BE AMENDED BY THE CITY MANAGER AS MAY BE NECESSARY IN ORDER TO MEET THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning such proposed acquisition. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S, 286.0105).
