15-year-old suspect accom-
panted by his parents turned
himself in at Orange County
sheriffs Headquarters, 2500
W Colonial. Drive, Hours
later, a 16-year-old suspect
was arrested,. and
18-year-old Gregory McDo-
nald was arrested Friday
night, according to Sheriff
Jerry Demings.
"These high-school stu-
dents were playing a dan-
gerous game, and they got
caught playing a dangerous
game," Deroiogs said Friday
afternoon. 'If you are com-
ing to our community with
criminal intent, we want
you to think twice about it"

The City of Miramar Is an entitlement recipient of federal funds
from the U.S. Department of Housing end Urban Development
(HUD) under the Community Development Block Grant ICDBGI.
In order to receive these funds, the Cloy must adopt a On0.Year
Action Plan that Is consistent with Rs 20102014 Consolidated
Plan for Housing end Community Development Programs. The
following amends the previously approved Action Plans. The
amendment Is summarized below.

A general municipal election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, from 7 A.M. until 7 P.M„ in
the City of Miami, Florida, at the polling places In the election precincts designated by the Miami -Dade
County Supervisor of Elections, at which election, the qualified electors participating therein shall
elect three (3) City Commissioners, who are to be elected from single member Districts 1, 2 and 4,
Candidate qualifying for the general municipal election will be held at the Office of the City Clerk,
Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, 33133 starting on September 4, 2015, and
ending on September 19, 2015, During this period, the Office of the City Clerk is open Monday through
Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., and on Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

will conduct a public hearing to consider imposing Solid Waste
special assessments for the provision of Solid Waste services
within the City of Miami farthe Fiscal Year commencing0tober
1, 2015 and ending September 30, 2015,
The hearing will be held at 5:05 p.m on September 10, 2015,
In the City Commission Chambers of City Halt 2500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of receiving
public comment on the proposed assessments. All affected
property owners have a right to appear at the hearing and to file
written objections with the City Commission within 20 days of
this notice If a person decides to appeal any decision made by
the City Commissioners with respect to any matter considered
et the hearing, such person Will need arecord of the proceedings
and may need to ensure that a verbatim record Is made,
Including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal Is
to be made. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities
Act, persons needing special accommodation or a sign language

The assessment for each parcel of property will be based upon
each parcels classification and the total number of billing units
etrributed to that parcel. The total estimated Solid Waste
Assessed Costs to be assessed and collected for the Fiscal Year
commencing October 1, 2015, Is $25.2 million The following
table reflects the proposed Solid Waste assessment schedule:
Single Family $380.00
Copies of the Solid Waste Assessment Ordinance, Initial
Assessment Resolution and the preliminary assessment roll are
available for Inspection at the office of the City Clark of Miami,
Florida, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida,
Unless proper steps are Initiated In a court of competent
jurisdiction to secure relief within 20 days from the date of City

Commission action at the above hearing (including the method
ofapportionment the rate of assessment and the Imposllon of
assessments), such action shall be the final adjudication of the
Issues presented.
The assessments will be collected onthe same bit as ad valorem
taxes Failure to pay the assessment Will result in either the
commencement of foreclosure proceedings or cause a tax

in a loss of title.
