("ABDA"), EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT END DATE FROM MARCH 31, 2015 TO DECEMBER 31, 2015, TO PROVIDE HOUSING QUALITY STANDARD INSPECTION SERVICES; AS SPECIFIED IN ATTACHMENT "A"; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY FOR SAID PURPOSE(S). Director Chief City Manager 5 Page 1 of 1 AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM CONTINUED Background Information: Allapattah Business Development Authority, Inc. ("ABDA") is a private nonprofit Sub -recipient defined under the provisions of 24CFR 570.500(c), eligible to receive CDBG funding assistance from the City to undertake activities eligible for such assistance under Subpart C of the regulations. Pursuant to Resolution No. 14-0172 adopted May8, 2014, the Miami City Commission authorized the transfer of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Administration and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), program delivery funds to provide Housing Quality Standard Inspection. Due to delays in commencing of the contract, and the inability of the organization to provide all required documents for reimbursement within the 30 days required by the contract. It is the desire of the Administration to reimburse ABDA for expenses related to the contract. There is currently an amount of $9,853.91 left in CDBG funds and $10,000 in the HOPWA funds. The City Administration requests extending the agreement end date from March 31, 2015 to December 31 st, 2015.
