A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN ASSET AND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
SOFTWARE FROM YARDI SYSTEMS, INC., FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI
DEPARTMENT OF REAL ESTATE AND ASSET MANAGEMENT, PURSUANT TO
SECTION 18-111 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA AS AMENDED,
UTILIZING THE COMPETITIVELY BID AND EXISTING GENERAL SERVICES
ADMINISTRATION ("GSA") CONTRACT NO. GS-35F-0731 P, SUBJECT TO ANY
RENEWALS, EXTENSIONS AND/OR REPLACEMENT CONTRACTS BY GSA;
ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS OF THE
END -USER DEPARTMENT, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND
BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") Department of Real Estate and Asset Management's
("DREAM") "piggyback" of the GSA Contract No. GS-35F-0731 P for the purchase of an Asset and
Property Management Software will enable DREAM to maintain records of lease and rent payments
due to the City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 18-111 of the Code the City of Miami, Florida, as amended
("City Code"), the Chief Procurement Officer determined that the GSA Contract for the purchase of
an Asset and Property Management Software was entered into pursuant to a competitive process in
compliance with the City's laws, policies and procedures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The purchase of an Asset and Property Management Software, from Yardi Systems,
Inc., for DREAM, pursuant to Section 18-111 of the City Code, utilizing the GSA Contract No.
GS-35F-0731 P, subject to any renewals, extensions and/or replacement contracts by GSA, is
authorized, with funds allocated from various sources of funds of the end -user department, subject
to availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor, {1}

{1}If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10)
calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
