5. On April 10, 2014, the City's Plat and Street Committee members voted to recommend
seven (7) ayes and zero (0) nays for the request of this three (3) street closures.
6. Due to reconfiguration of the plats, on March 05, 2015, the City's Plat and Street
Committee members reviewed the revised tracts and street closure requests. The City's
Plat and Street Committee members voted six (6) ayes and zero (0) nays,
recommending approval for the closure and vacation of the three streets.
7. As proposed, this application is consistent with the goals, objectives and policies of the
Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan (MCNP). The closure of these roadways will
promote and facilitate cohesive development, economic growth and revitalization of the
lots that it abuts.
DETERMINATION
Based on the above findings, the Planning and Zoning Department recommends the Approval
of the request subject to the following conditions:
1. A covenant will be recorded tying the property to a site plan approved by Planning
Department at least 30 days before City Commission hearing on the final plat.
2. No permits will be issued by the City, including phased permits, until recording of the
final plat.
3. The PZAB resolution including these conditions and approving the street closure shall be
recorded within 30 days of approval by the City Commission.
