Can we please get Main Highway drawings showing the elimination of the
middle lane, but restoring a left turn into Cloisters as suggested by the
County. Even though we think the left turn lane is unnecessary we are
willing to compromise on that if this can work. The BID Capital committee
has addressed this numerous times but we don't seem to be progressing.
We have been begging for these final drawings for months now. We had
meetings at City Hall, the BID office, etc, where we were told we would
get them.
Please get these to us ASAP. Its the only thing stopping Main Highway
from going forward. This has been stuck in neutral for a year or more
now. If we can reconcile this one point (the BID representatives and
others will go to the County to get approval) we can start on Main
Highway. Otherwise, I fear it will delay this for years.
Main Highway sidewalks are our worst problem area, by far, and need
immediate attention. To get Commodore done so nicely and to not plan
Main Highway with the same care, would be like putting cheap tires on a
luxury car. Lets get this right.

Good afternoon Hector:
Had a chance to speak with Scott this morning.
Is there any way we can pick up the plans that you presented to the County? Scott and myself are going to attempt
to reach out to another contact at the County to have them hear out our proposal.
We would be happy to attempt one last time in an effort to get our sidewalks expanded.
