I must say, however, this has been repeatedly promised w/o being met. I really do not understand why. ----why have on -duty police patrols in Bay Point drastically dropped literally in 1/2 from prior time commitments???? I have asked repeatedly for meetings with the Commander and whoever else is appropriate to address this VITAL ISSUE to my community which has never been accepted. Shocking for the President of a 250 home community in the Upper East Side with the property taxes paid in Bay Point. I am currently assigned to the midnight shift. Please be advised that Commander Dagostino and newly promoted Lt. C. Gause have stated that watch orders within Bay Point will increase and will be mandatory for all patrol units. u }� r 0 2 I will monitor the patrols documented weekly versus monthly to ensure these directives are met. During the Security part of the meeting, it was reported that we had 53 on -duty Police Patrols for April. The foregoing number is bigger than the 49 I reported to you last month, but it remains way off the 33-34 per week (at least one patrol per shift) which we have been repeatedly promised. This has become a frustrating issue for me as we used to have well in excess of 130+ patrols in Bay Point---- and for some reason, this suddenly changed without any explanation. Do you have any suggestions on what can be done in order to get the number of patrols where we need them to be?? On -duty Police patrols is a vital part of our security for the 250 homes in our residential community. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Juan E.
