Director City Manager er'4%._ vireosiiwrif Page 1 of 1 AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM CONTINUED Background Information: Due to the continuous decrease of available Community Development Block Grant funds in the last few years, Public Services agencies' allocations have been reduced resulting in reduction of services to residents. The City Commission wishes to allocate funding to cover public service program shortfalls for fiscal year 2015-2016 from the Poverty Initiatives Program Fund, Account No. 14010.910101.882000 (these funds were transferred from the General Fund NDA Account No. 00001.980000.891000). The City Commission recommends the allocation of funds from the Poverty Initiatives, totaling $362,000 in the amounts and to the agencies as specified in Attachment "A", attached and incorporated.
