(6) I acknowledge that I am subject to removal from the board if I fail to meet this requirement each and every year after assuming board membership or alternate membership. As a prospective appointee I am subject to a personal appearance before the city commission, to afford the city commission an opportunity to ascertain my proficiency in the English language, educational background and general knowledge of planning and zoning. (8) I am an elector of the City of Miami. I agree to immediately notify the city clerk if I cease to be a resident and/or an elector of the city during the term of my office. I agree that if I were to become a candidate for elective political office during my term and qualify as a candidate for elective political office, such qualification shall be deemed a tender of my resignation from the board. Let me begin by stating that I love the City of Miami and all it stands for from the past to where its going. I have been a licensed attorney in the State of Florida since 2001 and have focused my practice area in the world of Real Estate handling an array of matters ranging from purchases and sales to developmental work which I expect have added to my ability of understanding those matters which will come before the board. I understand the importance of proper planning for the preservation of the city's master plan and look forward, if appointed, to responsibly see that the furtherance of such plan lies between the parameters set. I graduated in 1992 from Monsignor Edward Pace High School; I graduated from Florida International University in 1998 with a Bachelor In Business Administration majoring in Finance; I graduated with my Juris Doctorate degree in 2001 and admitted to the Florida Bar in my first attempt. I have been practicing law in the Miami area ever since and have attended several continuing educational seminars which touched upon planning and zoning. On January 13th, 2014 I attended the Advanced Real Estate Transaction seminar which focused on all aspects of Real Estate.
