Background Information: On January 8, 2015, pursuant to Resolution R-15-0009, the City Commission authorized the City Manager to execute a Revocable License with National Marine Manufacturer's Association Inc.("NMMA") for the use of a portion of Virginia Key upland and submerged lands (collectively, the "Property") to be used for the purposes of presenting to the public the Miami International Boat Show. NMMA has requested to the City to add electric utilities to the Property for the general health, welfare and safety of the general public and to improve convenience, ease, visibility, comfort and accessibility to the general public and patrons of the Boat Show and the Park and has agreed to pay a portion of the costs. It is necessary to enter into the first Amendment to the License with NMMA to carry out the scope of work and to account for the payment of funds from NMMA towards the scope of work. Page 2 of 2
