Purpose of Item: A. Resolution of the Miami. City Commission with attachments to continue compliance with the Tax Compliance Certificate and Bond Resolution of the Series 2007 Street and Sidewalk Bond Program; authorizing the City Manager and other agents of the City of Miami to make amendments and take all necessary actions required in connection with this continuing compliance resolution, among other things amending current appropriations of previously approved projects as indicated in Consolidated Exhibits A and B, attached and incorporated; ratifying, approving, and confirming certain necessary actions by the City Manager and designated City departments in order to update the relevant financial controls and computer systems in connection therewith. Background Information: On December 5, 2007 the City issued $80 million of Special Obligation Bonds to fundprojects in the City's Capital Plan related to streets and sidewalks. The related Tax Compliance Certificate for said bonds required that the proceeds be spent in a timely manner The attached resolution authorizes the necessary continuing compliance follow-up procedures.
