D/B/A Catamaran Cruisers, for the Department of Fire - Rescue. Background Information: The City of Miami had a need to purchase a marine unit for the Department of Fire -Rescue to address delays in response, in regards to reflex time from quarters to incidents, allowing fire boat personnel to provide expedited care and rapid response to citizens along our coast line. The benefit of faster response times will allow for preventative action towards the increased amount of incidences, such as the incident that occurred on July 4, 2014.
