A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXERCISE THE FIRST ONE (1) YEAR OPTION TO RENEW
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL CONTRACT NO. 369316, BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI ("CITY") AND WLS, L.C. D/B/A NAI MIAMI, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION
NO. 13-0453, ADOPTED NOVEMBER 21, 2013, FOR REAL ESTATE LEASING
SERVICES FOR THE CITY DEPARTMENT OF REAL ESTATE AND ASSET
MANAGEMENT, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS; ALLOCATING
FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF
FUNDS AND BUDGETARYAPPROVALAT THE TIME OF NEED.
WHEREAS, on November 21, 2013, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 13-0453,
approving the City of Miami's ("City's") award of Request for Proposal ("RFP") Contract No. 369316 to
WLS, L.C. d/bla NAI Miami ("WLS/NAI"), for Real Estate Leasing Services for the City's Department of
Real Estate and Asset Management, formerly known as the Department of Public Facilities
("Department"), for a period of one (1) year, with the option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year
periods, with each renewal period requiring City Commission approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department have indicated the need to exercise the first
one (1) year option to renew to the City's RFP Contract No. 369316 with WLS/NAI, for the continued
provision of Real Estate Leasing Services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized{1} to exercise the first one (1) year option to renew
RFP Contract No. 369316 between the City and WLS/NAI, pursuant to Resolution No. 13-0453,
adopted November 21, 2013, for Real Estate Leasing Services for the Department, on an as -needed
contractual basis, with funds allocated from the various sources, subject to the availability of funds and
budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor. {1}

Footnotes:
{1} if the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10)
calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
