Subject Follow-up Dear Mr. Ihekwaba and Ms. Menardy: Thank you for taking the time to meet with me on Tuesday. Pursuant to our conversation, it is my opinion that implementing the recommendations made by the Independent Review Committee will not have a fiscal impact on the budgets of the affected departments. All we need to do is formalize it with a letter to CIP. Number 7 may be of concern as there is no due process to get the notifications removed from the file. As a curse of business do not place documents from external sources into the Personnel file or Internal Affairs files of our officers. We cannot discipline anyone for volunteering to attend. CIP has always had an option to subpoena the officer of go to court to acquire a "Rule to Show Cause" against the officer. As this is more than not a labor issue, I would humbly refer this item to the Law and Human Resources Departments for their input.
