Dear Mr. Infante:
The City of Miami is in receipt of your bid response to Bid No. 13-14-026 for Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Traffic Circles Maintenance Contract M-0109. The bid closed
on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, and SFM Services, Inc. is the apparent lowest responsive
and responsible bidder.
Pursuant to City of Miami Ordinance No. 12271, Section 18-85, the City has the authority to
reject any and all bids or portions of bids, or to negotiate with the lowest bidder for better
pricing, whichever is in the best interest of the City.
The City hereby requests that you carefully analyze the attached bid item prices for any cost
savings you can in turn extend to the City; and provide what is considered your firm's "best
and final offer" on the attached form as it pertains to your cost to provide Landscaping
Maintenance. This offer should be faxed or emailed to the attention of Calitza Diaz -Torres,
Legislative & Contracts Manager (305) 416-1216, or at Cdtorres@miamigov.com, by no
later than 12 noon, on Wednesday, October 23, 2014.
