Subject: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a grant of easement, in substantially the
attached form, to the Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT").
Purpose of Item:
A resolution of the Miami City Commission with attachments, authorizing the city manager to execute a grant
of easement, in substantially the attached form, to the Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT"), a
perpetual, non-exclusive easement of approximately six hundred fifty six (656) square feet of City -owned
property located at 2200 West Flagler Street, Miami, Florida, as more particularly described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and made a part hereof, to construct and maintain a sidewalk to comply with Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, install and maintain a signalization control panel, in, over, under, upon
and through said property and further containing a reverter provision if the easement is abandoned or
discontinued.

Subject: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a grant of easement, in substantially the
attached form, to the Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT").
Background Information:
The City of Miami ("City") owns the property located at 2200 West Flagler Street Miami, Florida; FDOT has
requested the grant of easement of approximately six hundred fifty six (656) square feet more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof (the "Property")
This easement will be used for the Florida Department of Transportation road improvement project. FDOT has
made an application to execute and deliver to FDOT a perpetual easement, in favor of FDOT for the purpose of
constructing and maintaining a sidewalk to comply with American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements,
installation and maintaining a signalization control panel. The easement shall further contain a reverter
provision that if the easement is abandoned or discontinued, the easement shall cease and revert back to the
City.
