Hannon City Clerk FROM: Daniel Rotenberg Director Department of Real Estate and Asset Management DATE: October 24, 2014 SUBJECT: FDOT Easement 2200 West Flagler Street REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: FDOT Perpetual Easement Enclosed you will fmd an ad for notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Commission on December 11, 2014, for the purpose of granting to Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT"), a perpetual, non- exclusive easement of approximately six hundred fifty six (656) square feet of City -owned property located at 2200 West Flagler Street, Miami, Florida. Please place the ad in accordance with public hearing requirements of the City Commission. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Approved: Julia Hernandez, Agenda Coordinator CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on December 11, 2014, at 9:00 A.M. at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of granting the following: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT, TO FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ("FDOT"), OF APPROXIMATELY SIX HUNDRED FIFTY SIX (656) SQUARE FEET OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2200 WEST FLAGLER STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A SIDEWALK TO COMPLY WITH AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) REQUIREMENTS, INSTALL AND MAINTAIN A SIGNALIZATION CONTROL PANEL, IN, OVER, UNDER, UPON AND THROUGH SAID PROPERTY; FURTHER CONTAINING A REVERTER PROVISION IF THE EASEMENT IS ABANDONED OR DISCONTINUED. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning these items. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based. The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or represented at this meeting and are invited to express their views.
