The City of Miami ("City") has been designated as the PHA to administer the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Moderate Rehabilitation Programs. Submission of a five (5) year PHA plan and the administrative plan to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("U.S. HUD") is required to ensure the City's continued participation in the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Moderate Rehabilitation Programs. The Administration recommends approving the City's five (5) year PHA plan and the administrative plan for Fiscal Year 2015-2019, in connection with the implementation and administration of the City's Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Moderate Rehabilitation Programs. The Administration also recommends submitting the five (5) year PHA Plan and administrative plan, attached and incorporated, for review and approval by U.S. HUD for the City's continued participation in said program.
