TO SELL FIREWORKS AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2805 SOUTHWEST 32ND AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, BEGINNING DECEMBER 26, 2014 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2014. WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 62-521 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended ("City Code"), Temporary Events are limited to no more than two (2) events per year per property; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 62-521(b)(4) of the City Code, the number of events per property can be waived upon affirmative vote of the City Commission; and WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club of Miami -Dade, Inc. ("Boys and Girls Club") has already reached the two (2) event per property limit in 2014; and WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club wishes to sell fireworks at the property located at 2805 Southwest 32nd Avenue, Miami, Florida, beginning December 26, 2014 and ending December 31, 2014; and WHEREAS, extending the period of time for this proposed temporary event at the above location would be beneficial to the City of Miami's residents; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble of this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Pursuant to Section 62-521(b)(4) of the City Code, the temporary events amount limitation of no more than two (2) events per property per year, to allow the Boys and Girls Club to sell fireworks at the property located at 2805 Southwest 32nd Avenue, Miami, Florida, beginning December 26, 2014 and ending December 31, 2014, is hereby waived. Section 3.
