Miami Shenandoah Neighborhood Association (MSNA)
BOARD RESOLUTION
At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Miami Shenandoah Neighborhood Association
(MSNA) on July 28, 2014, the following resolution was proposed and approved by the Board:
Resolved:
WHEREAS the mission of the Miami Shenandoah Neighborhood Association is to enhance
the quality of our neighborhood experience in the Shenandoah area by working closely with
elected City of Miami and Miami -Dade County officials, police, fire and staff to ensure prompt
resolution of problems, the highest levels of safety, coordination of new initiatives and full
utilization and enjoyment of our parks, recreation, cultural and retail merchants;
WHEREAS the construction of a new City of Miami Fire Station supports the mission of the
Miami Shenandoah Neighborhood Association;
That the Miami Shenandoah Neighborhood Association Board is in full support of a proposal
to construct the new Fire Station on Coral Way and to close and remove the existing temporary
Fire Station in Shenandoah Park when said construction is completed.
