AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER
163, FLORIDA STATUTES, BETWEEN MIAMI WORLDCENTER GROUP, LLC,
AND AFFILIATED PARTIES, AND THE CITY OF MIAMI, RELATING TO THE
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT OF A PROJECT KNOWN AS "MIAMI
WORLDCENTER" ON APPROXIMATELY ± 23 ACRES, ZONED "MIAMI
WORLDCENTER DISTRICT" AND IDENTIFIED AS APPENDIX D OF THE
MIAMI 21 CODE, AND LOCATED BETWEEN NORTHEAST 6TH STREET AND
NORTHEAST 11TH STREET AND BETWEEN NORTH MIAMI AVENUE AND
NORTHEAST 2ND AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
REDEVELOPMENT OF SUCH LAND FOR MIXED USES; AUTHORIZING THE
FOLLOWING USES: RESIDENTIAL, OFFICE, HOTEL, RETAIL, COMMERCIAL,
ACADEMIC SPACE AND ANY OTHER USES PERMITTED BY THE
APPLICABLE ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS; DESIGNATING EACH
BLOCK OF THE DISTRICT AS A RETAIL SPECIALTY CENTER AND
ENTERTAINMENT SPECIALTY DISTRICT PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 4 OF
THE CITY CODE; AUTHORIZING CERTAIN ENCROACHMENTS INTO CITY -
OWNED PUBLIC RIGHTS -OF -WAY PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 55;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, FOR SAID
PURPOSE.
