Director, City Manage Page 1 of 2 Background Information: Per the City's Education Compact with Miami -Dade County Public Schools, the City has partnered to host students who reside and attend City schools, the opportunity to complete work experience high school credits in various City departments as well as Mayor and Commissioner offices during the 2014 — 2015 school year. The program is scheduled to start August 25, 2014 — May 22, 2015. Students in the program are assigned to us by MDCPS and will contribute 5 —10 hours per week at the City. Page 2 of 2
