A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING THE LIBERTY CITY COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TRUST'S FISCAL
--YEAR _YEAR 2014-2015-BUDGET-; IN THE AMOUNT OF $591,993.00, ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2014
AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2015.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") created and established the Liberty City Community
Revitalization Trust ("Trust") pursuant to Ordinance No. 12859, adopted October 12, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the Trust is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of the City's revitalization and
redevelopment activities in the Liberty City area; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.5-36 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended ("Code"),
requires a budget, in a form acceptable to the City Manager, for the Trust to be approved by the City
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Trust requests the approval of the budget for the fiscal year commencing October
1, 2014 and ending September 30, 2015, in the amount of $591,993.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are incorporated
as fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Trust's Fiscal Year 2014-2015 budget, in the amount of $591,993.00, attached and
incorporated, for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2014 and ending September 30, 2015, is
approved.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the
Mayor.{1}

If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
