Purpose of Item: Law Department Matter ID No. 14-1464 An Ordinance of the Miami City Commission Amending Chapter 13/ Article I/ Section 13-5 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, entitled "Development Impact and Other Related Fees," in order to change the definition and applicable use of funds; containing a severability clause and providing for an effective date. Background Information: I The purpose of this amendment is to remove the minimum requirement of at least three acres in size, and to expand upon the definition of recreation system improvements. This change will allow more City Parks to benefit from the use of impact funds, further enhancing and expanding the quality of park use to all City of Miami residents.
