LLC, ("Dacra Entities") controlled entities affiliated with Design District Management, Inc. ("Dacra"), and owners of those certain properties located between NE 40th Street and NE 41s' Street, and between NE 1st Avenue and NE 2nd Avenue, as legally described in the attached exhibit to the application. The Dacra Entities together with Gator Acquisitions, Inc. (collectively the "Applicant"), owner of certain property located at 123-145 NE 40th Street on the south side of the existing alley, as legally described in the attached exhibit to the application, hereby collectively submit this application for vacation and closure of the eastern portion of the 12' wide alley located parallel to the north of NE 40th Street (approximately 3,832 square feet in area). The subject application is part of Dacra's ongoing rejuvenation of the Miami Design District and in furtherance of the Special Area Plan approved by the City of Miami in 2013. The vacation of this portion of the alley will allow for the creation of a pedestrian promenade linking together shopping areas, restaurants and other amenities within the Miami Design District. Although a portion of the existing alley will be vacated, the Dacra Entities, as part of the re - plat, is providing a dedicated easement (approximately 12 feet wide) on the ground level connecting the remaining alley to NE 41 st Street and preserving the pattem of egress that current exists today.
