Subject: Resolution Granting to Miami -Dade County Water and Sewer Department, a perpetual, non-
exclusive easement of an approximately twelve (12) foot wide strip of City -owned property located at
1095 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida (known as Museum Park).
Purpose of Item:
The administration recommends that the Miami City Commission adopt the attached Resolution
authorizing the City Manager to execute a Grant of Easement, in substantially the attached form, to
Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Department, a Political Subdivision of the State of Florida, of an
approximately twelve (12) foot wide strip of City -owned property located at 1095 Biscayne
Boulevard, Miami, Florida (known as Museum Park), as more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof, to construct, reconstruct, lay, install, operate, maintain,
relocate, repair, replace, improve, remove and inspect water transmission and distribution facilities
and all appurtenances thereto, with the right to ingress thereto and egress therefrom on the property.

Subject Resolution Granting to Miami -Dade County Water and Sewer Department, a perpetual, non-
exclusive easement of an approximately twelve (12) foot wide strip of City -owned property located at
1095 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida (known as Museum Park).
Background Information:
Miami —Dade County Water and Sewer Department has requested a grant of easement of an
approximately twelve (12) foot wide strip of City -owned property located at 1095 Biscayne
Boulevard, Miami, Florida (known as Museum Park).
The easement will be used to construct, operate and maintain underground electric utility facilities
(including wires, guys, cables, conduits and appurtenant equipment and appurtenant above -ground
equipment) to be installed from time to time, with the right to reconstruct, improve, add to, enlarge,
change the voltage of, change the size of and remove such facilities or any of them within said
easement, with hill right of ingress thereto and egress therefrom.
The easement will be used for future maintenance of said Facilities.
The easement shall further contain a reverter provision that if the easement is abandoned or
discontinued, the easement shall cease and revert back to the City.
