Director N/A fil°7sC City Manage Oki Page 1 of 2 Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Memorandum of Agreement The reimbursement of overtime costs and other expenses is contingent upon prior approval from ATF, including but not limited to travel, fuel, equipment and training, incurred by the Miami Police Department in providing resources to assist ATF in joint law enforcement operations. ATF and the City of Miami Police Department's Special Investigations Section have collaborated with investigating several high level cases. This agreement will allow detectives from the Special Investigations Section's Narcotics Unit to be cross -designated to investigate federal firearms violations, including but not limited to narcotics investigations involving violent felons who are responsible for a large number of shootings within the City of Miami.
