The office will serve as the administrative headquarters only and will not provide direct services to homeless individuals on site. The terms of the agreement are set for three years with the option to renew for five additional years at a cost of $12 per year at the sole discretion of the county. Background Information: The MHAP lacks an adequate office space to effectively conduct its administrative tasks, call intakes' assessments, fleet parking and storage space. The Miami Dade County Homeless Trust advocated with the County Public Housing, to provide a low cost lease for the relocation of the MHAP. Above referenced property is currently not been occupied by the county and will provide MHAP with the necessary office space for the installation of an appropriate phone, computer network and the privacy space for the call takers to match the demand of services and improve quality .
