HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-14-0250City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-14-0250 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 14-00531 Final Action Date: 7/10/2014 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED MAY 28, 2014, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID NO. 459333, FROM FLORIDA BULLET, INC., THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, FOR THE PROVISION OF LETHAL AND NON -LETHAL AMMUNITION, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL CONTRACT PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR PERIODS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS OF THE USER DEPARTMENT, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid received May 28, 2014, pursuant to Invitation for Bid No. 459333, from Florida Bullet, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, for the provision of Lethal and Non -Lethal Ammunition, for the Department of Police, on an as -needed contractual basis, for an initial contract period of one (1) year, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, is accepted, with funds allocated from the various sources of funds of the user department, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor. {1} Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall becomE effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
