NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCES
Notice is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida, will consider the
following ordinances on second and final reading on June 12, 2014, commencing at 9:00
a.m., in the City Commission Chambers located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida:
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING CHAPTER 40, ARTICLE
III, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED
"PERSONNEL/CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS", MORE PARTICULARLY BY
AMENDING SECTION 40-113(A), TO REQUIRE THAT LEAVES FOR MILITARY TRAINING
DURING AN ANNUAL PERIOD BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 115.07, AS
AMENDED; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING CHAPTER 54 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "STREETS AND
SIDEWALKS"; AND CHAPTER 55 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS
AMENDED, ENTITLED "SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS", TO UPDATE REFERENCES TO
AND COMPLIANCE WITH CURRENT CITY OF MIAMI AND STATE OF FLORIDA RULES
AND REGULATIONS, TO DELETE OBSOLETE REGULATIONS AND TO CORRECT
ERRATA; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
Said proposed ordinances may be inspected by the public at the Office of the City Clerk, 3500
Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, between the
hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or at http://egov.ci.miami.fl.us/LegistarWeb/frameset.html, five
days before the date of the Commission Meeting.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the meeting and may be heard with respect to
the proposed ordinances. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City
Commission with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence
upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
