WAY;" FURTHER DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO TRANSMITA COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE HEREIN DESIGNATED OFFICES. WHEREAS, pursuant to Miami -Dade County Resolution No. 269-14, adopted March 18, 2014, requesting an honorary designation of a road located within the City of Miami, the Miami City Commission has no objection and supports the proposed street codesignation of Northwest 2nd Avenue from Northwest 3rd Street to Northwest 14th Street, Miami, Florida, as "Clarence Pittman, Jr. Way;" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble of this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The Miami City Commission declares it has no objection to Miami -Dade County Resolution No. 269-14, adopted March 18, 2014, and supports the codesignation of Northwest 2nd Avenue from Northwest 3rd Street to Northwest 14th Street, Miami, Florida, as "Clarence Pittman Jr. Way." Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the Departments of Police, Fire -Rescue, and Solid Waste; the Miami -Dade County Public Works Department; and the United States Postal Service. Section 4.
