To accept a grant in the amount of $75,000 from the Global Philanthropy Partnership for the purpose
of developing and implementing a Neighborhood and Business Sustainability Challenge. The funding
will be used to develop a challenge website, develop challenge implementation plan, host the website,
and provide funding for challenge implementation to participating municipalities.
Background Information:
This challenge will promote and recognize businesses and residents for their efforts in the areas of
sustainability, energy conservation, community engagement and health. As per the grant terms, this
challenge will be developed in partnership with nine other municipalities.
