This investment is essential for the ongoing development needs of the project as a whole. As we have already begun construction of Phase I, these funds will help address various critical aspects, including water extension, which is vital for our operations and future development; living wage compliance for contractor labor to support the local economy; and the expansion of square footage in Phase II to enhance our lounge's capacity. The mission of the Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency (SEOPWCRA) mission is to improve the quality of life for residents by fostering economic development and revitalizing the community. This funding aligns with that mission by creating jobs, promoting local businesses, and enhancing entertainment options for our community.
