Enclosed you will find an ad for notice of a public hearing to be held by the City
Commission on April 24, 2014, for the purpose of granting to Florida Power and Light
Company, a perpetual, non-exclusive easement of approximately ten (10) foot wide strip
of City -owned property located at 1095 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida (known as
Museum Park).
Please place the ad in accordance with public hearing requirements of the City
Commission.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
April 24, 2014, at 9:00 A.M. at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami,
Florida, for the purpose of granting the following:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF
EASEMENT, TO FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY, A
FOR -PROFIT FLORIDA CORPORATION, OF A PERPETUAL, NON-
EXCLUSIVE EASEMENT OF APPROXIMATELY TEN (10) FOOT
WIDE STRIP OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1095
BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, MIAMI, FLORIDA (KNOWN AS
MUSEUM PARK), FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND
MAINTENANCE OF UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC UTILITY
FACILITIES, WITH THE RIGHT TO RECONSTRUCT, IMPROVE,
ADD TO, ENLARGE, CHANGE THE VOLTAGE AS WELL AS THE
SIZE OF AND REMOVE ALL OR ANY OF THE FACILITIES WITHIN
SAID EASEMENT.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning these items.
Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to
any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of
the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal
may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City
Clerk at (305) 250-5361 (Voice) not later than two (2) business days prior to the
proceeding, or at (305) 250-5472 (TTY) no later than three (3) business days prior to the
proceeding.
