NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on April 24, 2014 to consider the
award of a Park programming agreement contract, to Amigos for Kids for the 2014-2017
contract period, for the provision of after school instruction and program management,
family events, cultural and recreational activities for youth to be provided at Jose Marti
Park, and to consider the City Manager's recommendation in finding that competitive
negotiation methods are not practicable or advantageous regarding these issues.

This action is being considered pursuant to Section 18-86(A)(3)(c) services related to
educational services and activities provided by non-profit organizations within city parks
of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended. The recommendation and finding
to be considered in this matter are set forth in the proposed resolution and in this Code
Section, which are deemed to be incorporated by reference herein and are available as
public records from the City of Miami. The Public Hearing will be held in conjunction with
the regularly scheduled City Commission meeting of April 24, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Miami
City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida.
All interested individuals are invited to attend this hearing and may comment on the
proposed issue. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City
Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and
evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S.286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
