Purpose of Item: Resolution of the Miami City Commission accepting the final plat of PALM WAY SUBDIVISION from Oak Plaza Associates (DEL.) LLC, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the related documents for the recordation of the plat and approving recording the same in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida. Background Information: The Plat and Street Committee established per Miami City Code Section 55-1, and composed of the Departments of Public Works, Planning and Zoning, Building, Police, Fire -Rescue, General Service Administration, and Solid Waste, with representation of the Law Department, has reviewed the Tentative Plat and determined its conformance to the subdivision regulations of Chapter 55, and Miami21 Zoning Regulations. The Department of Public Works has reviewed the final plat and has determined that it is now in order for acceptance by the Miami City Commission. The specific intent of this plat is to create 7 tracts, and construct a commercial development. The proposed plat entitled PALM WAY SUBDIVISION is a subdivision of the property described in the attached Legal Description. The platted area consists of approximately 153,802 square feet (3.53± acres). This plat was approved under zoning designation T6-12-0 (Urban Core Zone).
