The nature of this item is to establish a term contract for maintenance and repairs of emergency
generators, with All Power Generators Corp., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, for an
initial contract term of two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year
periods, on a citywide, as needed contractual basis, under IFB No. 371323. Allocating funds from the
various sources of funds from the user departments and agencies, subject to availability of funds and
budgetary approval at the time of need.
Background Information:
The City of Miami has a need for maintenance and repairs of emergency generators. On October 31,
2013, the Procurement Department issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB No. 371323). As required by the
Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued online. On November 25, 2013, at the bid
opening four ( ) bids were submitted and tabulated. The Procurement Department is
recommending award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder per bid specifications. The
estimated annual contract amount is $49,000.00.
