Director City Manager Page l of 1 AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM CONTINUED Background Information: Pursuant to Resolution No. 13-0139, adopted April 11, 2013, the Miami City Commission approved the allocation of CDBG funds in the amount of $500,000 from the City's Department of Community and Economic Development District 3 Economic Development Reserve Account, to the City's Capital Improvements Program Department, for the Community Center Project located at 1320-1330 Southwest 12th Avenue, Miami, Florida, for the installation of a new playground. The Administration recommends the transfer of additional CDBG funds in the amount of $500,000 from the CDBG funds and allocating said funds to CIP to complete the installation of a playground at the Community Center Project.
