EL 33133 Joseph Furs( Eli Milrani David Lombardi Iry 1.e.rnor Tony Cho Alba, Gurcia October 3 I, 2013 RE: Letter of Support of GdO, L LC (the "Applicant") C'omprellensive Plan Amendment and Zoning Amendment - November 6. 2013 Agenda Dear City of Miami Commission and Members of the Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board ("PZAB-): This letter shall serve as our fOrmal Wynwood Business Improvement District letter of support on behalf of PZAI3.1 and I'ZAB.2, As property owners in the Wynwood neighborhood, we fully understand the need and importance of this re -zoning. The additional density and height requested by the Applicant will further economic development and provide more residential density to improve the balance of uses to create a truly mixed use neighborhood in our District. This project will positively impact future development in Wynwood, It will signal a new, positive partnership between the City and Wynwood. Goldman Properties, the parent company of the Applicant, has been improving and revitalizing the Wynwood area since 2005. Their prestigious projects include such gems as: the Wynwood Walls, Joey's ltaliaii Cat', the Wynwood Kitchell and Bar, The Wynwood Building and The Wynwood House. The Goldman selection of tenants in the arts, culture and food and beverage are among the real stars of Wynwood, including but not limited to. Panther CotTee, the LAB Miami, Gallery Diet, and the Light Box at Goldman Warehouse. "These tenants have made Wynwood what it is today and have helped transform Wynwood into both a world class destination and an incredible asset to the City of Miami. The requested rezoning will enable Goldman Properties to further 'advance Wynwood's urban renewal. We believe the proposed land use and zoning change are compatible with the surrounding neighborhood. We, the Board of Directors of the Wynwood Business Improvement District fully support this initiative.
