opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the proposed new

The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 27, 2014
at 9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment
on funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs.
The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamigov.com/communitydevelopment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager
to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and review for
a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 and ends on Wednesday,
February 26, 2014. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, February 27, 2014.

PROPOSED CITY OF MIAMI CONSOLIDATED PLAN
FOR 2014-2018 AND ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2014-2015
As per the Code of Federal Regulations 24 CFR 91.200, U.S. HUD requires entitlement cities that receive funds under its grant programs
to prepare a Consolidated Plan and an Annual Action Plan, which detail proposed activities to maximize the benefits of federal funding to
low income residents. The City of Miami is required to report annually to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
on projects funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG); Home Investment Partnerships (HOME); Emergency
Shelter Grant (ESG); and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) programs.
The City of Miami Department of Community and Economic Development has completed a draft of its 2014-2018 Consolidated Plan and
2014-2015 Action Plan. The Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan will be available for public review and comment for a period of no
Tess than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on January 28, 2014 and ends February 26, 2014. The plans will be presented
to City Commission for approval on February 27, 2014 (public hearing).
