Please allow this letter to serve as formal notice that the Bay Point Board of Directors is in full support for the of restriction of vehicular and pedestrian access to the "L" shaped alley located east of Biscayne Blvd between NE 39 Street and Bay Point, for security reasons. As a private community, limiting vehicular and pedestrian traffic in this subject area and alley is important to Bay Point. Our residents living alongside this alley way, as well as other areas of our community, have been constant victims of acts of vandalism, trespassing and burglaries because of the existing unrestricted vehicular and pedestrian traffic and access to/from the subject alley. One of our biggest worries has been safety in our neighborhood and surrounding areas, and to that end, we have worked in direct contact with the Petitioner attempting to obtain the pending permission before your office and gain approval to the above -referenced petition. On behalf of the Bay Point Board of Directors, as well as our community residents, we are in favor of granting Petitioner's petition which, if granted, will enhance a more secure environment for all affected residents in such area. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, rralles, President Board of Directors cc: Mr. Thomas Regalado (tregalado@miamigov.com) Mr. Marc Sarnoff (msarnoff(c@maimigov.com) Submitted into the public record in connection with item PH.4 on 01/23/14 Todd B.
