Re: Petition for prohibition of access of private alley located approximately North of
NE 39th Street and East of Biscayne Boulevard
We, the abutting property owners of the alley located approximately North of NE 39th
Street and East of Biscayne Boulevard, as depicted in the attached sketch and legal description,
respectfully submit this petition pursuant. to Section 55-16(h) of the City of Miami Code of
Ordinances, (the "Code"), for prohibition of access for said alley.
The alley was dedicated, pursuant to the Magnolia Park plat recorded at P1at Book 5 Page
25. The alley which bas not been improved in many years is narrow and abuts the rear of a gated
single family neighborhood. The alley's location is such that it is in the best interest of the public
to prohibit access. The alley creates a vulnerable entry at the rear of the single family
neighborhood and creates a dangerous exit onto Biscayne Boulevard.
