AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM CONTINUED
Background Information:
Due to the decrease of available Community Development Block Grant funds starting from the 2011-
2012 fiscal year, all Public Service agencies' allocations have been reduced by approximately 34
percent.
The City Commission wishes to allocate funding to cover public service program shortfalls for fiscal
year 2013-2014 from the Poverty Initiatives Program Fund, Account No. 14010.910101.882000
(these funds were transferred from the General Fund NDA Account No. 00001.980000.891000).
The City Commission recommends the allocation of funds from the Poverty Initiatives, totaling
$190,500, in the amounts and to the agencies as specified in Attachment "A", attached and
incorporated.
