Subject: Invitation for Bid (IFB) 372329 Meals under the Child Care Food Program Background Information: The Department of Parks & Recreation receives funding from the Florida Department of Health for the provision of afternoon snacks at various City of Miami Parks, and breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks at the City's Day Care Centers. On October 15, 2013, the Department of Procurement issued Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 372329. As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised in newspapers of general circulation and issued on-line. On October 31, 2013, at the bid opening, four (4) bids were submitted and they have been tabulated. The Parks and Recreation and Procurement Department are recommending award to My Little Captain Gourmet; LLC., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, per bid specifications. Estimated annual spend is: $207,492.30.
