Purpose of Item: Resolution, after a public hearing, in support of traffic flow modifications at Secoffee Street between Natoma Street and Southwest 22nd Avenue, which includes the installation of three (3) speed humps, as depicted in Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated. A copy of this resolution will be sent to the Miami - Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department to consider approval of the proposed traffic flow modifications. Background Information: At the request of residents, the Miami -Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department (PWWM) conducted a traffic study to evaluate existing traffic conditions in the surrounding area of Southwest 22nd Avenue between Natoma Street and Secoffee Street. As a result of the traffic study, PWWM would consider this location for a traffic circle or speed humps based on traffic calming criteria for municipalities which provide the funding for such installations.
