I TYPE OF BENEFIT PROPOSED BENEFITS - Effective 09-27-13 Salary $199,699 annual salary (bi-weekly) Effective 09-27-13 The agreed -upon salary shall remain in effect for the duration of the Term. Pension City Attorney shall continue be enrolled in the pension program. Car Allowance $800 per month Wireless Device/Tablet Allowance $300 per month Insurance Health/Vision/Dental Life Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Disability Insurance Executive Benefit Plan 3X Annual Salary 2X Annual Salary In the event that a disability plan is offered to the other City executives, the City Attorney shall have the right to negotiate for a similar benefit. Executive Physical One annual physical Leave Time Vacation Sick Holiday Earned Personal Leave 21 days per year 12 days per year 11 paid holidays per year 5 days per year Upon honorable separation, City Attorney shall receive payment of all Vacation and Sick leave earned as of the Effective Date of this Contract. Vacation and Sick time earned after the Effective Date of this Contract which is not utilized during the Term shall have no "cash value." Such Vacation and Sick time shall be available on a use -it - or -lose -it basis over the duration of the Term. Severance The City Commission reserves its right to terminate its relationship with the City Attorney by an official act of the Commission, without cause shown, prior to the expiration of the Term, In which event the City Attorney shall receive a fixed sum for compensation and forbearance, In amount equivalent to six months pay. The City Attorney shall receive a fixed sum in an amount equivalent to six months pay for services rendered if she is not re-elected to the position of City Attorney at the expiration of her Term of office. The City Attorney shall not receive any severance if she Is terminated for neglect of duty, misfeasance, or malfeasance, or if she voluntarily resigns. Deferred Compensation Employer contributes maximum allowed by law In the event that the City discontinues or otherwise modifies the Deferred Compensation Plan offered to city executives or similar employees in the City of Miami, then the City Attorney's Deferred Compensation shall be adjusted to be consistent with such discontinuance or modiflcation(s). COLA Same as granted to the classified or unclassified service, whichever is higher. Dues City shall pay for all present Florida Bar Dues and three (3) voluntary bar dues.
