Bayshore Drive Miami, Florida Purpose of Item: A Resolution of the Miami City Commission, with attachments, authorizing the City Manager to accept, pursuant to a Special Warranty Deed, the conveyance of two (2) parcels of land located at 7890 NE Bayshore Court and 7889 N. Bayshore Drive Miami, Florida, Folio Numbers 01-3208-008- 0520 and 01-3208-008-0530 collectively (The "Property") from Upper East Side Miami, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company ("Grantor") to the City of Miami ("City"). Grantor will cover all costs associated with the transfer of the property, ,including but not limited to Survey, Environmental Report, Title Insurance and Closing Costs. Further authorizing the City Manager to execute any necessary documents, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, which are necessary to effectuate said conveyance. Bayshore Court and 7889 N. Bayshore Drive, Miami, Florida, Folio Numbers 01-3208-008-0520 and 01-3208- 008-0530 respectively (the "Property"). Pursuant to the Major Use Special Permit "MUSP" approved by Resolution No 06-0128 for Grantor's residential project ("OASIS "), located across the street from the Property, the Grantor is required to convey the Property described in Exhibit "A" to the City. The Grantor desires to convey the Property to the City by Special Warranty Deed, in substantially the attached form. The Grantor is required to develop the Property as a passive park. The City has done due diligence, verifying there are no outstanding ad -valorem taxes due and no apparent environmental issues. According to the Miami Dade Property Appraiser's Office, the total market value of the property for 2012 is Five Hundred Ninety Six Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty ($596,680.00) Dollars. The City of Miami Parks Department recognizes the need for parks in the Upper East Side community and recommends the acceptance of the conveyance Page 2 of 2
